NaNoWriMo 2007 Spoiler

Ok, for those of you wanting to know, my NaNoWriMo novel for 2007 will be the sequel to my 2006 novel “Finding Heaven.” The temporary working title for this novel is “Sins Of Eden.” I’m still in the process of planning a good deal of the plot, but figured last years project left enough loose ends that there is still yet some story to tell with these characters, who I still find quite fascinating.

How will Micah adjust to family life after all this time? How will they all cope with picking up the pieces after losing so much dear to them? Most importantly, how long can one small town keep the events of that dark night a secret from the outside world? Only time will tell…please stay tuned. Prayers and good thoughts are appreciated.

Back from Cleveland

I should have made this post days ago, but yes I arrived safe and well back from my trip to Cleveland to see Nightwish. The concert was amazing, and the band members are all very sweet and wonderful people, which makes having met them all the better. here are some photos from the show and afterward:

If it weren’t for bad luck…

Ever have those weeks where everything just seems to pile up on you at once? Feel the world is out to get you? If it hasn’t been one thing, its another the last couple weeks actually. I’ve lost my laptop, an entire litter of kittens, and now it seems my website, taking with it the only backups I had of my last novel. Somehow, I still try to tell myself to keep calm, that things may get better…but damn, right now all I want is a freaking beer…better make that several.

Thankfully I never deleted this account, so I will yet again begin my blogging days here on wordpress.com. Sometimes I feel like giving up, but I’m not a quitter, and I’ve come back from worse. Time to see if I can rebuild my blogroll list and transfer what posts I can recover from other blogs here. It may suck…but this blog is home again, at least for now.
